During a live call

Starting a session, reading answers, and keeping long calls on track.

Start the session before the call begins rather than during it. Transcription is already live by the time the first question lands, which is where it matters most.

The order that works

  • Pick the config for this role.
  • Start the session and confirm words are appearing in the transcript.
  • Join the call.

Reading an answer without sounding like it

A drafted answer is a prompt, not a script. Reading one aloud word for word is audible to an interviewer, both in cadence and in the pause while you scan. Take the structure and the specifics from it and say them in your own words.

Long calls

Past roughly forty minutes, earlier turns are summarised automatically so the question being asked stays in focus. This happens without any action from you; the transcript in your history stays complete.
